I come from a multi-generational forestry family, which allowed me to become familiar with the world of forests from an early age and instilled in me a strong sense of vocation for this profession. I earned my degrees in Forest Engineering as well as in Land Surveying and Land Management Engineering in Sopron. I am currently working as an institutional engineer at the Institute of Geomatics and Civil Engineering at the University of Sopron, where I am also pursuing my PhD studies.

In my scientific work, I research the application of modern remote sensing technologies, drone photogrammetry, and airborne laser scanning in forest inventory and assessment. My publications range from exploring the relationships between forest structure and topographic factors to the production of digital terrain models and topographic analysis.

My research activities include estimating forest carbon stocks using satellite imagery and LiDAR point clouds, contributing to the geospatial analysis of carbon sequestration potential. I have presented at several professional conferences and co-authored the development of Hungary’s professional reference material on “Geomatics in Forestry.”

I have expanded my international experience in countries including Sweden and Transylvania. I am confident in communication in professional English.

As co-founder of DualWing Forestry, I combine traditional forestry expertise with state-of-the-art geomatics technologies. My goal is to provide partners with accurate and reliable data through drone and digital mapping solutions – supporting sustainable and efficient forest management.

I come from a multi-generational forestry family, where a love of nature and respect for the profession shaped my career path from an early age. I earned my degree in Forest Engineering at the University of Sopron and spent two semesters at the Albert-Ludwigs-Universität Freiburg in Germany with Erasmus and Pannonia scholarships, while also gaining professional experience in Sweden. I am proficient in both English and German at an advanced professional level.

I completed my thesis entitled “Efficient Surveying of Piled Timber Assortments Using Modern Tools – An Examination of Inventory Possibilities” in collaboration with Papierholz Austria GmbH. My work was supervised with the support of my current business partner.

As co-founder of DualWing Forestry, I work with an innovative mindset while respecting professional traditions, striving to place drone technology and modern digital solutions at the service of sustainable forest management. At the heart of my work lies the balance between the economic and natural values of forests.
